MAKÜ Faculty of Education

Burdur Faculty of Education started its education as "Burdur Female Teacher's School" in 1965-1966 school year and was converted to a two-year Education Institute in 1977-1978 shool year., it was attached to the Rectorate of Akdeniz University under the name of Burdur School of Education with a statutory decree No. 41 in July 20, 1982.

The School of Education was attached to the Rectorate of Suleyman Demirel University, which was established by law numbered 3837, under the name of Burdur Faculty of Education. Due to the establishment of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in 2006 in Burdur, the faculty was redefined as the Faculty of Education, and attached to Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. Prof. Dr. Sibel KARAKELLE has been the dean of the faculty of education since 2015, who is the co-chair of our Congress at the same time.
