The current academic structure of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction is carried out as two separate programs: Master's and Doctorate levels. 1 Proffesor, 1 Associate Professor and 3 Assistant Professors, and 2 research assistant Dr. works in the department. In addition, there are two other faculty members under the Department of Educational Sciences, one of whom is an Associate Professor, who completed their doctorate degrees in the field of Curriculum and Instruction.
As the department, other courses related to education are also taught in other departments, especially courses with the code of Vocational Knowledge. 22 students have been trained as scientific experts so far, and currently 41 students (including preparatory program and regular program) in Master's program, and 1 student in doctorate program are actively continuing their education. As a department, we define our mission under three subheadings. The first is to contribute to training of qualified teachers through the pre-service teacher education programs of the education faculty by teaching the courses in the field of curriculum and instruction. The second is to contribute to the field of curriculum and instruction by "conducting and sharing researches" and "raising science experts". Also to raise respected and distinguished scientists for the academic community with the doctorate program who can carry out scientific studies. Third is to raise the impact and expand the application fields of curriculum and instruction beyond teacher training. In this context, we support the studies of the training programs of the Livestock and Development project in our university by "developing, conducting and evaluating the programs" and provide active expert support to our university which is determined as a specialized university in Livestock Industry. In this context, we also contribute to institutional level accreditation studies as another service area.
